At Midnight Comes the Cry by Julia Spencer-Fleming

This is my first read for this author and enjoyed this suspenseful thriller very much. A lot happening in this, along with some very bad badguys. I enjoyed the interactions of the main characters, each having their own unique character and problems. Claire and Russ play off each other well and are a formidable team. There is much to unpack here and much of it current with today’s world views and events. Great read and addition to your TBR list.

The Prince of Smoke and Mirrors br Blair Babylon 5 Stars

Absolutely an awesome beginning to a new series by one of my favorite authors.  We meet Lexi and Nico, who under different circumstances would never cross paths, and their worlds collide, with a resounding smack. There is much to unpack in this first book, both are surrounded by lowlife characters and the people they trust most are probably the worst, in Lexi’s case this is proven, in Nico’s the answers are still pending, we shall discover more as things progress. Grab the first of this newest series and sit back for the ride.

Excellent read.

Everything comes to a conclusion in this last and most anticipated book of this trilogy.  Sonya, Cleo, Owen and Trey are facing a paranormal crisis and the crescendo is awesome, well thought out and well executed. If you have not read the previous two books, grab them and enjoy this ride. It is a definite wonderful adventure and addition to your TBR list.

Release day! Never Marry the Best Man by Julia Kent

Loved this newest book. Ranney and Tom are practically immediate romantic partners, despite their age differences. The question is will they allow the people around them to   Influence and inflict their prejudices and push them apart. There is so much fun, in spite of the  naysayers. Grab this book, it is a great read.

The Spite Date by Pippa Grant RELEASE DAY!

Simon and Bea, each have the same problem, but from opposite sides. This book was such fun and I adore the twins. The story is sweet and sparkles with humor, snark, steam and romance. A definite favorite and addition to your TBR list.
