Third and last of this series. As with all Leslie North books, this one is a fast easy read with a side of steam. The cover and title need a revamp, but the story is, as always, enjoyable and fun.   Add this to your list. A good beach read.

There is a little drama and intrigue wrapped in a pretty good story. This is not my favorite of the series but a quick read. If you are looking for a simple, easy story line with steam, this one is for you. Leslie North, does crank out the books, she needs to invest in better covers and titles (just my opinion). Quick, easy fun read for a leisurely day.

Big Picle by JJ Knight 5⭐️

So much fun and a great amount of steam in this romance. I have to admit, the start, was not my favorite, but the story picked up from there. So much fun, a small amount of mystery and of course a little angst to ramp up the interest. There is much “ado” about pickles in this one. Add to your TBR list.

Hard Liquor by Blair Babylon Audiobook narrated by John Lane 5⭐️🔥

The final half of Arthur and Gen’s story. It has been awhile since I read these books, I had forgotten the excellent story line and the steam, well, bring a fan or some ice for this listen. John Lane does an outstanding narration. The twists and turns, romance, drama and intrigue make this audio entertainment at it’s finest. I recommend starting with “Stiff Drink”, the first half of this duet before this listen. Awesome!

All We Never Knew by Elena Aitken 5⭐️

Wow, this chick just could not catch a break. Big 40th birthday and her world literally falls apart. Honestly, I don’t know how she survived it in one piece (mentally). The story was moving and I enjoyed reading this book. My heart hurt by the end.

Flirting with the Frenemy by Pippa Grant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‘S

These books are just full of awesomeness. I have fallen hard for the Bro code and their laugh out loud antics. The pirate theme adds to the special romance of this story. Don’t miss Wyatt and Ellie, their romance is the first in this series and will spur your interest in the next. TBR time.

America’s Geekheart by Pippa Grant 5⭐️😂

So much fun in this book, with Beck and Sarah, and the whirlpool that is their lives. A laugh out loud, romance with the undercurrent of internet trolls and a despicable employee. Loved this one, don’t miss it. A TBR special. 

Becoming Lady Washington by Betty Bolte 5⭐️

Normally I avoid historical fiction when the story is based on true events and persons, partly because I know the outcome and it cannot be changed.  Of course I know some of the happenings and story of Martha Washington.  This story hurt my heart, so much loss, children, family and friends. This book is dry in places and Martha, was a stoic, strong yet behind the facade, a caring, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Excellent read, well written with a bit of whimsy, add this to your TBR list. 

The Sheikh’s Surprise Twins by Leslie North 5 ⭐️S

Let me say, Leslie North does crank out the books. That said, I have enjoyed everyone so far. This book is between an architect and Sheikh and is an easy, fun entertaining read with a side of steam. Of course there are twins and an HEA involved. Grab an adult beverage and enjoy.

The Love Scam by MaryJance Davidson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Let me start this by saying if you have not read the previous book “Danger, Sweetheart”, you may want to before reading this book. I was a little lost at the beginning and finally caught up, but it took a few chapters and I did not enjoy the journey. By the mid point, I was “all in” and loved the twists and turns. One item I feel needs correcting are the constant foot notes per chapter, you are either constantly going back, or skipping forward to match them in the chapter. The story is twisted, fun, outrageous and romantic. A fun read.
