Second in this fun and husky inspired series. We meet Kelsey and Ian, who must navigate the “Hatfield and McCoy” system of Helen, Alaska and decide what is most important to each of them. Excellent read with furry friends. Add to your TBR list.

Last book in the Flicka series and WOW, what an ending. Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers knock this one out of the park. We go from the cliffhanger at the end of book 4, stepping back into the same untenable situation she escaped in the earlier books, along with the under current of the unknown. Suspense, danger, violence conclude in this well written series, in a direction that I never considered. My suggestion is, if you haven’t read the prior books, do so, as this series is now at the top of my list. No disappointment here. Well done.
Elena Aitken brings all her previous characters into each story, and this saved this book. I truly struggled with Natalie and Aiden, they were adults behaving as teens. I lost patience in a few places but the surrounding characters kept the book interesting and moving forward.
Second in this newest series and includes the familiar social instrospect of Ann Cleeves stories. As we move through the world of Inspector Matthew Venn, his foibles and expectations are addressed along with the lives and expectations of his team. Excellent read. Definite addition to your TBR list.
