Third in this series. Excellent story, I confess, I did get a little frustrated with the main female character. For the most part, this is a good read. There is a good amount of angst, romance, steam with the requisite HEA. A great vacation, beach read. Add to your TBR list.

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren 5⭐️

If only we could all have the chance to redo our mistakes. I enjoyed this story so much, it centers around the Christmas holiday and that is the reason we can allow the flight of fancy. This story is a sweet, heart warming romance with a touch of angst,drama and steam. A joy to read, ending with a HEA. Add this to your holiday reading list. 

Perky by Julia Kent and narrated by Erin Mallon 5⭐️

Amazingly, fun read and listen, Erin Mallon does a great job with this narration. My favorite so far. One discretionary lapse, changes the lives of those closest, and mayhem ensues.  Julia Kent’s signature humor, snark and laugh out loud idioms are abundant in this newest book. There is steam romance and HEA. Another top listen and read, add this to your “top read” list.

The Nesting by C.J Cooke 3⭐️

A rambling story, with many interesting twists and then there are the spots that just don’t follow through. There is a supernatural note, but mostly a twisted pattern of darkness and abuse that doesn’t always make sense, other than with regard to the main character of Lexi.  Not a bad read, but there should be a rewrite with regard to things that happen in the beginning and how the book ends.

Fluffy by Julia Kent, audio narrated by Erin Mallon 5⭐️

Another laugh out loud, fun filled fest by Julia Kent. Erin Mallon does another good narration, I think the audio allows more of Mallory’s inner double awesomeness to shine through.  I loved this book and laughed through most of it. The romance, slapstick comedy and interactions abound with the author’s signature snark and wit. Have fun with this one, well worth the read and listen.

The Sheikh’s Pregnant Nanny by Leslie North 5⭐️

Third and last in this series, also the best of the three, in my opinion. The title is unfortunate, but this story has drama, angst, romance and steam. A quick easy read. Great for the beach or vacation.

The Darkest Evening by Ann Cleeves 5⭐️

My first encounter with the canny Vera Stanhope and I hope to have time to visit with her in previous episodes. This down to earth, plain, smart, middle aged inspector is a great character and I enjoyed this story immensely.  You meet Vera and her team, with insights into their working relationships. If you enjoy a good murder mystery grab this one.

Little Miss Perfect by Julia Kent Narrated by Erin Mallon 5⭐️

Audio review:  This is a prequel to Fluffy. Erin Mallon,the narrator does an excellent job with this fun short. Loved this series and the audio brings a great listen for a book I enjoyed previously in hard copy. Start here and go for the whole series.

Jungle Burn by Sarah Makela 3⭐️

If it is steam you are after, then this is the book for you. More story was needed, less steam.
