Not my favorite book. There are parts that were enjoyable, mostly it was not for me. And I wondered why the author left the story with such an awful feeling. Am giving this 5 stars, just because I didn’t enjoy this, someone else may.

To Rule a Kingdom of Nothing by Blair Babylon 5 stars.
And the plot thickens….who are the bad guys, because as in most of Blair Babylon’s books, there is always more than one. Admittedly, I floundered during parts of this story. My tolerance for romantic angst seems to become less as I age, but I enjoyed this read, even though I knew where the ending headed. Lexi and Nico are entertaining and now we must wait for the next chapters. Grab this newest book and hang on for the ride.

Fall Into Place by Kristyn Miller. 5 stars.
Enjoyed this book. There were a couple of places that were slow, but the story picked back up. The end was a little strange….my option is the Alt. You’d will understand once you read the book. Nore and Callan have trust issues, but that is expected. Grab this excellent read or add to your TBR list, don’t miss this one.

A Trade of Blood by Robert Jackson Bennett Excellent read
Macabre and dark. I found myself floundering and putting this book aside to process the story. There is the language and differences in the author’s world that make these books appealing, but this one was difficult to handle in places. Din, as always, finds his way through, but the path is tangled. Good read, but not an easy one. If you loved the first books, this one is not quick, but it’s worth the extra effort.

Storm Tide by Paul Doiron 5 stars
Could not enjoy this book. It kept stalling out and I found myself leaving it for days before picking it back up. I expected to love this, but found myself losing patience with Mike and just plain ill with him when Stacy needed him. Disappointed is the key word here. I am giving this 5 stars, as others will love the story, where I just tolerated it.

The Best I never Had by Amy Buchanan
This story is rife with crazy family dynamics and the tizzyness continues throughout the book. Loved Thea and Owen and I admit, there were a couple places that made me wonder why any sane person would want to live in this bubble. Everything straightened out and the high jinx’s are entertaining, the story is fun with a dip into the steam. A great vacation read and a definite addition to your TBR list.

The Final Target by Nora Roberts. 5 ⭐️
Another in a long line of outstanding books. Nora Roberts never disappoints. Loved Arden, Gideon and the sweet family interactions. This book does not have the same depth of darkness found in her previous two standalone novels, but it is engaging and entertaining. Enjoyed this read and should be a definite addition to your TBR list.
