This story is rife with crazy family dynamics and the tizzyness continues throughout the book. Loved Thea and Owen and I admit, there were a couple places that made me wonder why any sane person would want to live in this bubble. Everything straightened out and the high jinx’s are entertaining, the story is fun with a dip into the steam. A great vacation read and a definite addition to your TBR list.

The Final Target by Nora Roberts. 5 ⭐️
Another in a long line of outstanding books. Nora Roberts never disappoints. Loved Arden, Gideon and the sweet family interactions. This book does not have the same depth of darkness found in her previous two standalone novels, but it is engaging and entertaining. Enjoyed this read and should be a definite addition to your TBR list.

Cold Heat by Toni Anderson 5 stars
Fast paced, excellent read. One of my favorite part of these books is the cameos of Alex Parker, who was the first of my travels with Toni Anderson’s exciting, wonderful thrillers. This book is filled with mystery, twisted leads, friends and evil. Daisy and Jordan are riddled with angst, trust issues and past drama, then thrown into the midst of a national crisis. Excellent story and a definite addition to your TBR list

The Bookstore Diaries by Susan Mallery 5 Stars
Enjoyed this book. Much happening, but the characters were likable and loved Ramon. We did jump at the end forward a couple of yearss for the epilogue, but all is well. This is a definite addition to your TBR list.

An Heir to Blood And Power by Blair Babylon 5 stars
No author handles royal billionaire heirs like Blair Babylon. This series is no exception. The second book in this series has the the greedy evil nemesis spiraling around our main characters. Loved this newest slice and cannot wait for the next. These all tie in together so if you have not read An Heir to Blood and Power, grab it now and hang on for the ride. Excellent!

Where the Girls Were by Kate Schatz
And history repeats. This is a heart rending read and happened many times during my youth. We meet eleven young girls who must be “hidden” due to their “condition” and so the story goes. The youth of today, won’t appreciate what we had until it is gone and unfortunately it is going the way of the past. Most of these girls worst problems, besides the partner that helped put them in the untenable situation, are their own family and the system. This is an excellent window into the past and now our future. A definite reminder and good read. Add this to your TBR list.
